HUD Announces Office of Multifamily Leadership Changes

HUD recently announced changes to the Office of Multifamily Housing leadership staff.

Mark Van Kirk, the director of Asset Management for the Office of Multifamily Housing Programs, left HUD on July 18. HUD has initiated a search for a new office director. In the interim, Nancie-Ann Bodell, the current director of the Program Administration Office, will serve as acting director of Asset Management.

In addition, Margaret Salazar will also be stepping down as director of the Office of Affordable Housing Preservation (OAHP) to assume the role of field office director for HUD’s Portland, Ore., office in August. Ted Toon, current director of Multifamily Development, and former director of OAHP, will take over temporarily to lead OAHP during this period of transition.
